Start your journey from Hunza Valley by driving towards the Karakoram Highway (KKH). Follow the KKH towards Gilgit and continue until you reach the junction for the N-15 highway, which heads towards Mansehra and ultimately to Kaghan Valley. The drive is approximately 5-6 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you reach Mansehra, follow the signs to Balakot, which is the gateway to Kaghan Valley. You will travel through scenic landscapes, so be sure to take breaks and enjoy the views.

For those opting for public transportation, take a bus or van from Hunza Valley to Gilgit. From Gilgit, you can find buses or vans heading to Mansehra. The journey from Hunza to Gilgit takes around 2-3 hours. Once in Mansehra, you can catch another bus or van to Balakot. This leg of the journey should take approximately 1-2 hours. After reaching Balakot, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus to reach Kaghan Valley, which is about a 30-minute drive from Balakot.
