To reach Kumrat Valley from Hunza Valley by car, first drive towards Gilgit on the Karakoram Highway (KKH). After approximately 1.5 hours, take the turn-off towards Dir via the N-15 road. Continue on this road for about 3-4 hours until you reach the town of Dir. From Dir, follow the signs to Upper Dir and then to Kumrat Valley. The total journey takes about 6-7 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Make sure to refuel in Dir as there are limited fuel stations along the route.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus or shared van from Hunza to Gilgit. Buses leave frequently from the central bus station in Karimabad. From Gilgit, take another bus or shared van to Dir. Once you reach Dir, you can find local transport heading towards Kumrat Valley. Note that the last leg of the journey from Dir to Kumrat Valley may require hiring a jeep or taking a local minibus, which can be arranged at the Dir bazaar.
