Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Skardu, which is the nearest city offering access to Soq Valley. Head northeast on the Skardu-Kachura Road (also known as the Skardu Road). Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Soq Valley. Make a right turn onto the Soq Valley Road. Follow this road for about 10 kilometers, which will lead you directly to the entrance of Soq Valley. The drive should take around 1 hour, depending on road conditions.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take a shared taxi or a bus from Skardu to the village nearest to Soq Valley. Shared taxis usually leave from the main taxi stand in Skardu and cost around PKR 300-500 per person. The trip generally takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach the nearest village, you may need to hire a local jeep or arrange for a motorcycle taxi to take you the remaining distance of approximately 10 kilometers into Soq Valley. This additional ride will cost around PKR 400-800.
Trekking

Starting from Skardu, you can trek through the beautiful landscapes, which can take around 4 to 6 hours depending on your pace and the chosen route. Ensure you are well-equipped with food, water, and a map, as the trails may not be well-marked. It is advisable to hire a local guide who is familiar with the area.
