Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the Skardu city center. Head towards the CMH Road which is the main road leading out of Skardu. Walk along CMH Road for approximately 5 kilometers. As you walk, you will pass local shops and eateries where you can stop for refreshments. Keep an eye out for signposts directing you towards Chunda Valley. After about 5 kilometers, you will reach the entrance to Chunda Valley. From here, continue on the same road for another 2 kilometers. You will see the Malturo Rock Castle View on your left. The view is marked by a small pathway leading to the viewpoint, which is well-known among tourists for its stunning scenery.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Skardu. Start from the city center and head towards CMH Road. Cycle along CMH Road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the Chunda Valley entrance. Continue cycling along the same road for another 2 kilometers. You will find Malturo Rock Castle View on your left. There is a pathway leading to the view that you can explore once you arrive.

Hiking
For those interested in hiking, you can start your journey from the Skardu city center. Head towards CMH Road and follow it for about 5 kilometers. Instead of walking directly along the road, you can take a scenic hiking trail that branches off towards Chunda Valley. This trail will lead you through beautiful landscapes, but ensure you have a map or a guide. After approximately 5 kilometers on the trail, join CMH Road again and continue for another 2 kilometers until you reach Malturo Rock Castle View, which will be on your left.
