Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by entering the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area via the main entrance. From the main entrance, follow River Road (Route 611) north. After approximately 5 miles, turn left onto Route 80 West. Continue for about 2 miles until you reach exit 308 for East Stroudsburg. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto N Courtland St, which becomes Mt. Nebo Rd. Follow Mt. Nebo Rd for about 2 miles, and you will find Mt. Nebo Park on your left at 230 Mt Nebo Rd, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.

• Public Transportation

  If using public transportation, first take a bus from your location to East Stroudsburg. The Trans-Bridge Lines and Martz Trailways operate services to East Stroudsburg. Once you arrive at the East Stroudsburg bus terminal, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to get to Mt. Nebo Park. The park is approximately 4 miles from the bus terminal, and taxi fares may vary, so be prepared for a cost in the range of $10-$15.

• Biking

  For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike at one of the local bike shops in East Stroudsburg. From the town, head north on N Courtland St and then take a left onto Mt. Nebo Rd. The bike ride is about 2 miles uphill, and you should be cautious of traffic as you approach the park. Ensure you have a helmet and follow local biking laws.
