For visitors using public transportation, take the Gettysburg Shuttle, which operates seasonally. Board the shuttle at the designated stops around Gettysburg, including the Gettysburg Visitor Center. Make sure to check the shuttle schedule. Request to get off at the stop nearest to Sykes Avenue. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk (0.5 miles) to the monument. Walk west on Sykes Avenue; the monument will be on your left. There may be a small fee for the shuttle service, typically around $5 for a day pass.
