Walking
If you are in Gettysburg's downtown area, start at the Gettysburg Square, located at the intersection of Baltimore Street and Lincoln Square. Head south on Baltimore Street toward the intersection with Steinwehr Avenue. Continue straight for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with Baltimore Pike. Turn right onto Baltimore Pike. The Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center is located at 1195 Baltimore Pike, about a 15-minute walk from the square.

Public Transportation
From the Gettysburg Square, catch the local shuttle service, which operates on a limited schedule. Look for the shuttle stop near the Lincoln Statue on the square. Take the shuttle heading towards the Gettysburg National Military Park. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Museum & Visitor Center. The center is approximately a 5-minute ride from the square.

Biking
If you have access to a bicycle, you can bike from the Gettysburg Square. Start by heading south on Baltimore Street, then turn right onto Steinwehr Avenue. Continue until you reach the traffic light at Baltimore Pike. Turn right onto Baltimore Pike and follow it for about a mile. The Museum & Visitor Center will be on your left-hand side. This route should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your biking speed.
