Head south on 7th Street for two blocks until you reach the intersection with Washington Square. Turn left onto Washington Square and walk one block to reach the entrance of Washington Square at 210 W Washington Square. This route is approximately 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.

If you prefer public transit, take the SEPTA bus #21 or #42, which you can catch at various stops throughout Center City. Look for a bus stop with a sign indicating the bus line. Board the bus and ride for about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop for 6th & Washington Avenue. From there, walk west on Washington Avenue for about 5 minutes until you reach Washington Square at 210 W Washington Square. The bus fare is $2.50, payable via a SEPTA Key card or exact cash.

You can also take the Market-Frankford Line (Blue Line) from any nearby subway station in Center City. Board the train in the direction of 69th Street and get off at the 5th Street/Independence Hall station.
