For those who prefer public transportation, you can take the Port Authority bus system. Check the nearest bus stop, and look for the 61 or 71 buses that head towards the Station Square. Board the bus and ride until you reach the stop at the corner of Commonwealth Place. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk (approximately 2 minutes) to the Fort Pitt Block House at 601 Commonwealth Pl Building C. You can also take the Light Rail (commonly referred to as the T) from various locations in the downtown area.
