Car
Start from any location in Apurímac and head towards the Pan-American Highway (Carretera Panamericana). If you are in Abancay, take the road to the south and merge onto the highway. Continue driving north for approximately 5 hours until you reach Barranca. Once in Barranca, follow the signs to Supe Puerto, which is about 15 minutes away. The Sacred City of Caral is located at Barranca, Supe Puerto 15161. Ensure you have cash for tolls along the highway, which can vary.

Bus
From Abancay, find a bus terminal that offers service to Lima. The journey to Lima will take around 12 hours. Upon arrival in Lima, head to the Terminal Terrestre Plaza Norte and catch a bus to Barranca, which takes approximately 2 hours. Once in Barranca, you can take a taxi to the Sacred City of Caral, which is about 15 minutes away. Make sure to buy your bus tickets in advance, as this route can fill up quickly.
