Private Car
From the Ausangate Trek, you will need to travel back to the nearest major town, which is Tinki. Drive approximately 2 hours from Tinki to Cusco city. Follow the signs towards 'Cusco Centro' and look for Avenida de la Cultura. Once you reach the city, follow Avenida de la Cultura until it turns into Av. El Sol. Continue straight until you reach Plaza de Armas, located at Plaza de Armas, Cusco 08002. There is usually parking available but be prepared to pay a small fee.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Plaza de Armas from Ausangate Trek, first head to Tinki. You can take a shared taxi or a local bus to Tinki, which takes about 30 minutes. In Tinki, look for a bus headed to Cusco. The bus ride will take approximately 3-4 hours. Ensure to inform the driver to drop you off at the main bus terminal in Cusco. From there, it is a short walk to Plaza de Armas, which is about 10-15 minutes on foot. Follow the signs towards 'Centro Histórico' to reach the plaza.
