Once in Cachora, head northeast on the road towards Cusco for about 2.5 hours until you reach the town of Huchuy Qosqo. Look for signs directing you to the Huchuy Qosqo archaeological site. There may be parking available near the entrance.

To reach Huchuy Qosqo using public transport, begin your journey from Choquequirao by hiking down to Cachora. Once in Cachora, you can find local buses or shared taxis heading to Cusco. Ask the driver to drop you off at a junction that leads to Huchuy Qosqo. This leg of the journey may take around 2.5 to 3 hours. After getting off, you might need to hike for another 30-60 minutes to reach the Huchuy Qosqo site. Make sure to confirm the cost of the bus or taxi, which typically ranges from 10 to 30 soles.
