If you are in the central area of Ayacucho, start by heading towards the Plaza Mayor, which is a prominent square in the city. From there, you can follow the main road, Avenida 28 de Julio, heading south. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Andahuaylas street. Turn left onto Andahuaylas street and walk for about 5 minutes. The Plaza de Armas will be on your right, marked by beautiful colonial architecture and vibrant local activities.

Locate a nearby bus stop that serves local buses heading towards the Plaza de Armas. You can ask locals for directions to the nearest bus stop. Board the bus that indicates it goes to the Plaza de Armas. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Plaza de Armas stop, disembark and you will see the plaza directly in front of you, surrounded by shops and cafes.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Ayacucho. After renting, head towards the main roads and follow Avenida 28 de Julio south.
