Car
If you are driving, start from the town of Chivay, which is the main town in Colca Canyon. Head south on the road towards Cabanaconde. After approximately 23 km, you will reach a fork; take the left road towards the village of San Juan de Chuccho. Continue for about 5 km until you see a sign for Catarata Panahua. Follow the dirt road for another 3 km until you reach the waterfall. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for unpaved roads.

Public Transportation
From Chivay, take a local bus towards Cabanaconde. The journey takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Once you reach Cabanaconde, you can hire a taxi or arrange for a local guide to take you to Catarata Panahua. The taxi ride will take approximately 20 minutes and may cost around 20-30 soles. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.

If you are feeling adventurous, you can also hike to Catarata Panahua from Cabanaconde. From the main square, take the trail heading towards San Juan de Chuccho. This hike takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
