Walking
From the center of Cusco, start at the Plaza de Armas. Head east on Avenida El Sol until you reach the intersection with Calle San Agustin. Follow Calle San Agustin until it becomes Avenida La Cultura. Continue straight to the intersection with Avenida de la Libertad. Turn left onto Avenida de la Libertad and follow it until you reach the bus terminal 'Terminal Terrestre'. Here, you will find public buses or combis heading to the Sacred Valley.

Board a bus or combi that is headed to Huayllabamba or Ollantaytambo. The ride will take about 1-1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Make sure to tell the driver or the conductor that you want to get off at Huayllabamba. Keep an eye out for your destination as the drivers may not announce the stops.

Walking
Once you arrive at Huayllabamba, disembark and ask locals for directions to MachuQolqa Viewpoint. Start walking towards the trails leading up the hill. The viewpoint is accessible via a well-marked hiking trail. The hike will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your pace, and the trail can be steep in some sections. Follow the trail signs that indicate the way to the viewpoint.
