Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Ollantaytambo, which is about 20 minutes away. Head southeast on Av. Ferrocarril toward Av. Los Incas, then take the first right onto Av. Los Incas. Continue for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction with the highway. Merge onto the PE-28B road heading toward Pachar. After approximately 5 kilometers, look for signs to Mirador Del Valle Sagrado, which is located at PQ8W+XC, Pachar 08655. There is usually parking available nearby, but make sure to arrive early during peak tourist season to secure a spot.
Public Transportation
To reach Mirador Del Valle Sagrado via public transportation, take a minibus from Ollantaytambo to Urubamba. The minibuses leave frequently from the main square. Once you arrive in Urubamba, switch to a local taxi or another minibus heading to Pachar. Inform the driver you want to go to Mirador Del Valle Sagrado. The taxi ride from Urubamba to the viewpoint will take about 15 minutes and cost around 10-15 soles. Ensure to ask the driver to wait for you as public transport may not frequently return from the viewpoint.
Walking from Pachar
If you find yourself in Pachar after taking a taxi or minibus, you can reach Mirador Del Valle Sagrado by walking. From the main road in Pachar, head uphill towards the viewpoint, which is about a 20-minute walk. Follow the signs leading to the viewpoint. The path is relatively clear but may involve a steep ascent, so wear comfortable shoes. Keep in mind that the viewpoint is situated at a higher elevation, so take your time and enjoy the scenery along the way.
