Experience Historical Core

Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the Camp John Hay Convention Center, head towards the parking lot. Continue walking straight until you reach the entrance of the Historical Core, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. You will see the sign for Historical Core on your left as you approach the area.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Camp John Hay Market, you can walk towards the entrance of the Camp John Hay area. Once you enter, follow the main path that leads directly to the Historical Core. This route will take around 15 minutes and you will pass by various shops and attractions along the way.

    From the Bell House Museum, exit the museum and turn left. Walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Historical Core. Look for the large historical markers and structures as you approach.

    If you are at the Eco-Trail, exit the trail and head back towards the Camp John Hay main area. Once you reach the main road, turn right and continue straight. The Historical Core will be on your right-hand side, which is about a 20-minute walk.

    For visitors staying at the Forest Lodge, exit the lodge and walk down the slope towards the main path. Head left and continue walking for about 12 minutes until you reach the Historical Core. Keep an eye out for directional signs that indicate you are nearing the destination.
