Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in central Sopot, head towards the Sopot train station (Stacja Sopot). From the station, walk to the main street, Monte Cassino. Follow Monte Cassino Street towards the north until you reach the end of the street where it meets the promenade. Continue walking straight along the promenade until you reach the Gdańsk ferry terminal. From there, take the ferry to Gdańsk. Once you arrive at Gdańsk, exit the ferry terminal and walk towards Węgierska Street. Follow Węgierska Street until it turns into Wały Jagiellońskie. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Wielkie Młyny Street. Turn left onto Wielkie Młyny Street and you will find the Muzeum Bursztynu at number 16.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From central Sopot, make your way to the nearest bus stop (most likely located on Monte Cassino Street). Look for bus number 140 or 210 heading towards Gdańsk. Board the bus and enjoy the ride, which should take around 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Długi Targ' bus stop in Gdańsk. From there, it’s a short walk: head towards the waterfront and follow the signs to the Amber Museum. Walk along Długi Targ Street until you reach the intersection with Wielkie Młyny Street. Turn right onto Wielkie Młyny Street and the museum will be on your left at number 16.

  • Train

    Start by walking to the Sopot train station (Stacja Sopot). From there, take a train towards Gdańsk Główny. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Gdańsk Główny station, exit the station and head towards the main exit. From the main exit, turn left and walk along ul. 3 Maja until you reach the intersection with Wały Jagiellońskie. Continue straight onto Wały Jagiellońskie and then turn left onto Wielkie Młyny Street. The Muzeum Bursztynu will be located at number 16 on your right.
