If you're driving from the center of Arrábida Natural Park, take the N379 road towards Setúbal. Continue on the N379 until you reach the A2 motorway entrance. Merge onto A2 and follow the signs for Lisbon. After approximately 30 km, take exit 3 towards 25 de Abril Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs for Lisbon. Once in Lisbon, take the first exit onto Av. da Liberdade and continue straight. Follow the road until you reach Praça Afonso de Albuquerque, where the Garden of Afonso de Albuquerque is located.
Public Transportation
To reach the Garden of Afonso de Albuquerque using public transportation, start at the nearest bus stop in Arrábida Natural Park. Take the bus towards Setúbal and get off at Setúbal Train Station. From there, catch a train to Lisbon (Cais do Sodré station). Once in Lisbon, you can transfer to the metro at Cais do Sodré station and take the Green Line towards Telheiras. Get off at the next station, Baixa-Chiado. From there, it’s a 15-minute walk to Praça Afonso de Albuquerque. Follow Rua do Ouro, turn left onto Rua da Conceição, and continue until you reach the square.
