Car
If you are driving, start on the N16 from any location in Beira Alta. Follow the signs towards Porto. Once you get close to Porto, take the exit onto A1 towards Porto. Continue on A1 for about 80 km. As you approach Porto, keep to the right to merge onto A20 towards Gaia/Porto. Take the exit towards Rua do Ouro and continue straight. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua de Santa Catarina. After a short drive, turn left onto Rua Dr. Alberto Aires de Gouveia. Your destination, Destino Fado, will be on your right at number 17.

To reach Destino Fado using public transportation, start by taking a bus from any major station in Beira Alta to Porto. The Rede Expressos bus service is a reliable option. Once you arrive at the Porto bus terminal, walk to the nearest metro station, which is Campo 24 de Agosto. Take the metro Line D (Yellow Line) towards Santo Ovidio. Get off at the stop called Trindade. From Trindade, transfer to Line A (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. Get off at the next stop, Aliados. From Aliados, walk down Avenida dos Aliados towards Rua de Santa Catarina. Turn left onto Rua Dr. Alberto Aires de Gouveia, and you will find Destino Fado at number 17.
