Public Transport
From Caldas da Rainha, walk to the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário). Once there, purchase a ticket for the bus to Nazaré. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. When you arrive in Nazaré, get off at the main bus stop. From there, walk towards the coastal road (Avenida da República) and head north. Keep walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach Estr. do Farol. The Forte de São Miguel Arcanjo will be on your right.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from the center of Caldas da Rainha, head towards the Parque D. Carlos I and exit onto Rua de Leiria. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, and take the first exit onto N8 towards Nazaré. Follow the road for about 8 kilometers. Once you reach Nazaré, follow the signs to the beach, then head towards Estr. do Farol. The fortress is located at the top of the hill overlooking the sea.
