Getting There

Walking

From the center of Caldas da Rainha, start at Praça 5 de Outubro, which is a central square. Head north on Avenida 1 de Maio towards the train station. Once you reach the Caldas da Rainha Train Station, take the train towards Óbidos. The train ride is approximately 15 minutes. After arriving at Óbidos station, exit and head towards the center of Óbidos, following the signs for the castle. The Miradouro de Óbidos is located near the castle and can be reached by walking uphill towards R. de São Bento. It is about a 20-minute walk from the station to the viewpoint.
Bus

From the center of Caldas da Rainha, walk to the bus station located at Avenida da Liberdade. Take the bus to Óbidos; the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Óbidos, exit the bus and walk towards the town center, following the signs towards the castle. Continue walking until you reach R. de São Bento, where the Miradouro de Óbidos is located. The viewpoint is just a short walk from the town center.
Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Caldas da Rainha. Start at Praça 5 de Outubro and head towards Óbidos via the N8 road. The distance is approximately 8 km and will take around 30-40 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Upon reaching Óbidos, park your bicycle near the town center and walk to R. de São Bento to reach the Miradouro de Óbidos.
