Getting There

Walking
Start at the Cascais Train Station. Exit the station and head towards the pedestrian street, Rua Frederico Arouca. Continue straight until you reach the main square, Praça 5 de Outubro. From the square, walk straight along Avenida Valbom until you reach the waterfront. Turn left and walk along the promenade, enjoying the views of the ocean. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the Cascais Marina. From the marina, take the coastal path, which will lead you to the Boca do Inferno. Continue walking along the coast until you reach the end of the path, where you'll see the beautiful cliffs. From there, turn around and head back towards the marina. Once you are at the marina again, follow the signs to the Cascais Train Station and take the train to Lisbon. Upon arriving at the Rossio Station in Lisbon, exit and head towards the Praça da Figueira. From there, walk up Rua da Conceição towards the Alfama district. Continue until you reach Largo de Santa Luzia, where the Igreja de Santa Luzia is located.

From your location in Cascais, walk to the Cascais Train Station. Purchase a ticket to Lisbon, and board a train heading to Cais do Sodré. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré, exit the station and take the metro to Baixa-Chiado station (Lisbon Metro). From Baixa-Chiado, follow the signs to Rua do Ouro and then walk towards the Praça do Comércio. From there, head towards the Alfama district by walking along Rua da Conceição. After a short walk, you will reach Largo de Santa Luzia, where the Igreja de Santa Luzia is located.
