    From Cascais, head to the Cascais Train Station located in the town center. Purchase a ticket for Sintra at the ticket counter or machine. Board the train towards Sintra, which departs every 20-30 minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sintra Train Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located outside the station.

    At the Sintra Train Station bus stop, take Bus 434 towards the Sintra Historic Center. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Centro Histórico' stop. From there, walk straight until you reach the main square (Praça da República). From the square, continue on foot, following the signs for 'St. Martin Church' (Igreja de São Martinho). The church is located at R. Biquinha 1-A, just a short 10-minute walk uphill from the square.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk from the Sintra Train Station, exit the station and turn left onto Av. Dr. Miguel Bombarda. Continue walking straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto R. da Ferraria and follow the road uphill for approximately 15-20 minutes until you arrive at R. Biquinha. The St. Martin Church will be on your left.
