From the center of Coimbra, head to the main bus station, Terminal Rodoviário de Coimbra. You can take the bus line 34 or 35 towards 'Praia de Mira'. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as it may vary. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Buracas do Casmilo'. From the bus stop, follow the signs that lead to the hiking area, which is about a 10-minute walk.

Take a train from Coimbra-B station to the nearest stop, which is 'Cernache'. Once you arrive at Cernache station, exit and walk towards the main road (N342). Follow the road signs towards 'Buracas do Casmilo'. The walk takes about 45 minutes, with the distance being approximately 3.5 km. Make sure to carry water and wear comfortable shoes for the hike.
