From the city center of Coimbra, head towards the Rua Ferreira Borges. Walk straight until you reach the Praça do Comércio. From there, take the street called Rua da Sofia, which will lead you to the University of Coimbra. Once you reach the university, follow the signs towards the Botanical Garden (Jardim Botânico). Continue past the garden, and you will find yourself at Estrada do Rio. The Rio Mondego will be visible along this road.
