If you are in the city center, head towards the Rua Ferreira Borges street. Continue straight until you reach the Praça 8 de Maio square. From the square, take the path leading uphill towards the University of Coimbra, following the signs for the university. As you walk, you'll pass the beautiful Santa Cruz Church on your left. The entrance to the University is located at the top of the hill, and you should find yourself at the main gate of the university.

Locate the nearest bus stop, and take bus number 34 or 35, which frequently runs towards the University. The bus will take you directly to the 'Universidade' stop. Once you get off, follow the signs leading to the main entrance of the University, which is just a short walk from the bus stop.
