Car
If you're driving from the center of Ericeira, head south on Rua da Liberdade towards Avenida de Portugal. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the 2nd exit onto N247 and follow the signs for A21/Estoril. Merge onto A21 and continue for about 20 km. Take the exit towards Estoril. Follow Avenida de Saboia and Av. Marginal until you reach Forte de Santo António da Barra, located at Av. Marginal 73, Estoril. There is limited parking available nearby.

Public Transportation
To visit Forte de Santo António da Barra using public transport, walk to the Ericeira bus terminal. Take the bus to Lisbon (Campo Grande) and then transfer to the bus heading to Estoril. After about 45 minutes, get off at the Estoril stop. From there, walk along Av. Marginal towards the coastline for about 15 minutes. The fortress will be on your left at Av. Marginal 73, Estoril.
