If you are driving from the center of Ericeira, start by heading southeast on Rua da Liberdade towards Rua da Praia. Continue straight until you reach the N247. Turn left onto N247 and follow it for about 15 km. As you approach Lisbon, follow signs for A5 towards Lisbon. Merge onto A5 and continue for approximately 6 km. Take exit 1 towards Centro, then merge onto Avenida da Índia. Continue straight until you reach Praça Afonso de Albuquerque, where the Garden of Afonso de Albuquerque is located.

To reach the Garden of Afonso de Albuquerque by public transport, start at the Ericeira bus station. Take the Scotturb bus line 450 towards Lisbon. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lisbon bus terminal, walk towards the metro station at Cais do Sodré. From there, take the metro on the Green Line towards Telheiras and get off at the stop for Cais do Sodré. Exit the station and walk towards Avenida da Índia. Continue straight until you reach Praça Afonso de Albuquerque, where the garden is located.
