If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Lisbon. Head west on Avenida da Liberdade towards Praça dos Restauradores. Continue straight to merge onto Avenida da Índia, following signs for Belém. Stay on this road until you reach the roundabout at Praça do Império. Take the first exit onto Av. da Índia. Continue straight, and then turn left onto Rua dos Jerónimos. Follow this road until you arrive at Largo dos Jerónimos, where the Tropical Botanical Garden is located.

To reach the Tropical Botanical Garden using public transportation, take the Lisbon Metro (Red Line) to the 'Oriente' station. From there, transfer to the 'Cascais' train line at the nearby train station. Get off at 'Belém' station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the river and follow the signs to the Jerónimos Monastery. The Tropical Botanical Garden is located just a short walk from the monastery, at Largo dos Jerónimos.
