Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Faro train station. Exit the station and head northeast on Avenida da República. Continue straight for about 700 meters until you reach the roundabout at Praça 1º de Maio. From there, take the second exit onto Avenida Carlos de Lobo. Walk along this avenue for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Rua de Portugal. Turn left onto Rua de Portugal and continue until you reach the Largo de São Brás. The Ermida de São Brás will be located at the square.

• Public Transport

  From Faro, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Faro bus station (Estação Rodoviária de Faro). Take the bus towards Tavira, which is a common route. The buses are frequent, so check the schedule for the next departure to Tavira. Once you arrive at Tavira bus station, exit the station and head towards the town center. Walk to Largo de São Brás by following the signs or asking locals for directions. The Ermida de São Brás is located at this square.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Faro. Start at a rental shop and head towards the waterfront on Avenida da República. Follow the route along the Ria Formosa until you reach the outskirts of Tavira. There is a cycle path that leads you into Tavira. Once you arrive in Tavira, follow signs to Largo de São Brás, where the Ermida de São Brás is located. Be cautious of traffic and pedestrians along the way.
