Walking
If you are starting from the Faro train station, exit the station and turn left onto Avenida da República. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de Portugal. Turn right onto Rua de Portugal and continue walking until you reach the roundabout at Largo de São Pedro. From there, head towards the historic center of Faro, passing through the Arco da Vila. After passing through the arch, continue straight until you reach Praça da República. From the square, follow the signs to Igreja do Carmo, located nearby. Once you reach the church, head towards Rua do Carmo, and continue until you reach Largo de Santa Luzia. The Miradouro de Santa Luzia will be on your right, offering a stunning view of the Ria Formosa.

Public Transport
From Faro bus station, take the local bus (lines 16 or 14) towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Igreja do Carmo,' which is near the Igreja do Carmo. From the church, walk towards Rua do Carmo, and continue straight until you reach Largo de Santa Luzia. The Miradouro de Santa Luzia will be on your right. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for the latest timings.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Faro. Start from the bike rental location and head towards Avenida da República, cycling straight until you reach the roundabout at Largo de São Pedro. From there, follow the bike lanes that lead towards the historic center, passing by Arco da Vila and continuing to Praça da República. Make your way to Igreja do Carmo, and from there, cycle along Rua do Carmo towards Largo de Santa Luzia. The Miradouro de Santa Luzia will be on your right, where you can park your bike and enjoy the view.
