If you are starting from the Guimarães Castle, exit the castle grounds and head east on Rua de Santa Maria. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach Praça de S. Tiago. From the square, turn left onto Rua de Conde Dom Henrique. Walk straight for approximately 500 meters, and you will see the Dom Afonso Henriques statue on your right, located at R. Conde Dom Henrique 11, 4800-412 Guimarães.

From the Guimarães Train Station, exit and head towards the city center using Av. de S. Gonçalo. Continue along this avenue until you reach Praça de S. Tiago. Once there, turn right onto Rua de Conde Dom Henrique. Walk for about 400 meters, and you will find the Dom Afonso Henriques statue at R. Conde Dom Henrique 11, 4800-412 Guimarães on your right.
