Walking
From the historic center of Guimarães, head south on Rua de São Francisco toward Praça de São Tiago. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at Avenida Dom João IV. Take the second exit onto Avenida Dom João IV and walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus station, Estação de Caminhos de Ferro de Guimarães. From there, take a bus heading to Porto. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Porto's city center. Once in Porto, use the metro to get to the area of Miradouro das Fontainhas. Walk to the nearest metro station, and take Line C towards Estádio do Dragão. Get off at the stop 'Campo 24 de Agosto'. From there, walk north on Rua de Gomes Freire for about 5 minutes to reach Miradouro das Fontainhas.

Public Transport
From Guimarães, head to the main bus station located in the city center. Purchase a ticket to Porto. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Porto, head to the nearest metro station, which is 'Campo 24 de Agosto'. Take Line C (the blue line) towards Estádio do Dragão. After 4 stops, get off at 'São Bento' station. Exit the metro, and walk towards the north for about 10 minutes, following the signs to Rua de Gomes Freire. Miradouro das Fontainhas will be on your left.

Inform the driver that you want to go to Miradouro das Fontainhas, located at R. de Gomes Freire 18. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
