Car
If you're driving from the Lisbon Coast, take the A5 motorway towards Lisbon. Follow signs for Lisboa and merge onto the E1. Once you approach the city, take the exit for Av. da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach R. da Escola Politécnica. The Botanical Garden of Lisbon is located at R. da Escola Politécnica 58, 1250-102 Lisboa. Parking may be limited in the area, so look for nearby parking garages or street parking. Note that parking fees may apply.

Public Transportation - Train and Tram
From the Lisbon Coast, take the train to Cais do Sodré station. Once there, transfer to the tram line 15E (towards Algés) and get off at Praça da Alegria stop. From the tram stop, walk along R. da Escola Politécnica until you reach R. da Escola Politécnica 58. The Botanical Garden of Lisbon will be on your left. Please note that a ticket for the train will cost approximately €2.50, and tram tickets are around €1.50.

Public Transportation - Metro
If you prefer the metro, first take the train from the Lisbon Coast to Lisbon's Rossio station. From Rossio, walk to the Rossio metro station and take the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré. Get off at the Baixa-Chiado station, then transfer to the Blue Line towards Santa Apolónia. Get off at the Avenida station. From there, it's a 10-minute walk. Head towards R. da Escola Politécnica, and the Botanical Garden is located at R. da Escola Politécnica 58, 1250-102 Lisboa. A metro ticket costs about €1.50.
