Getting There

Ferry
Start your journey at Cais do Sodré station in Lisbon. Take the green metro line to Cais do Sodré. Once at Cais do Sodré, exit the station and head towards the ferry terminal. Look for the boats heading to Cacilhas. Purchase your ticket from the vending machines or the ticket booth. The ferry ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Cacilhas, disembark the ferry and head towards the exit.

Walk
After disembarking the ferry at Cacilhas, turn left and walk along the waterfront promenade (Cais de Cacilhas). Continue walking straight for about 650 meters until you reach the intersection with R. do Ginjal. Turn right onto R. do Ginjal and walk for another 200 meters. You will find Praia das Lavadeiras on your left, marked by a picturesque beach area.
