Start your journey from the city center of Lisbon, at the Cais do Sodré train station. Take the train on the Linha de Cascais (Cascais Line) towards Cascais. Get off at the Alcântara-Terra station (approximately 5 minutes ride). Once you arrive, follow the signs to the bus stop located just outside the station. Board the bus number 101 or 107 towards Almada. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop named 'Cristo Rei'. From there, it’s a short walk (about 10 minutes) to reach the Sanctuary of Christ the King.

Begin your journey by heading to the Cais do Sodré ferry terminal in Lisbon. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Cacilhas. The ferry ride takes about 10 minutes and offers stunning views of the Lisbon waterfront. Once you arrive in Cacilhas, exit the ferry terminal and head towards the bus stop. Take bus number 101 towards Almada and get off at the 'Cristo Rei' stop. You will then have a short 10-minute walk to the Sanctuary of Christ the King.

If you're feeling adventurous and in good shape, you can walk to the Sanctuary of Christ the King from the Cacilhas ferry terminal. After disembarking from the ferry, head south along the waterfront on Rua Cândido dos Reis. Continue straight until you reach Av. do Cristo Rei. It will take approximately 30-40 minutes to walk, but you will be rewarded with beautiful views along the way.
