From Colares, you can find local taxis or consider walking to Serra do Risco, which is approximately a 40-minute walk (around 3 km) through scenic routes.

Begin your journey at the 'Rossio' train station. Take the Sintra Line train towards Sintra and get off at the 'Sintra' station. After exiting the train, head to the bus terminal located right next to the train station. Catch bus number 403 towards 'Praia das Maçãs'. Disembark at the 'Colares' stop. From Colares, you can take a taxi or embark on a 40-minute walk to reach Serra do Risco.
