From the center of Ponte de Lima, start at the iconic Ponte de Lima Bridge (Ponte Romana). Head northeast along the riverside promenade, keeping the river on your left. Continue walking along the path for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Rua da Liberdade. Turn left onto Rua da Liberdade and follow it until you reach the main road, Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Cross the avenue carefully, and continue straight until you see the signs for Aqueduto de Santa Clara on your right. The Aqueduto is approximately 300 meters ahead.

Public Transport
Although there are no direct buses from Ponte de Lima to Vila do Conde, you can take a bus to Vila Nova de Cerveira and then transfer to another bus heading towards Vila do Conde. Start at the Ponte de Lima Bus Station (Terminal Rodoviário de Ponte de Lima) and take a bus to Vila Nova de Cerveira. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Vila Nova de Cerveira, catch a bus towards Vila do Conde. Make sure to check the local timetable for bus schedules. After approximately 45 minutes, you will arrive in Vila do Conde. From the bus stop, walk about 500 meters towards the Aqueduto de Santa Clara, which is well-signposted.
