Walking
From the center of Ponte de Lima, head east towards the bridge (Ponte de Lima). Cross the bridge over the Lima River. Once you are on the other side, continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N202 road. Continue walking along this road for about 3 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Monção along the way. As you approach Monção, keep an eye out for the Castle of Monção, which will be visible on your left.

From the bus station in Ponte de Lima, take a bus heading towards Monção. The bus ride typically takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Monção bus station, exit the station and head east on Rua do Cais towards the main road. Turn left onto the N202 and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. The Castle of Monção will be located on your left. Follow the signs to reach the entrance.
