Getting There

Metro
Start at the 'Aliados' metro station in Porto. Take the Metro Line D (Yellow Line) towards 'Hospital de São João'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Jardim do Morro' station. From the station, follow the signs to the exit. Once you exit, you will be at a viewpoint with a stunning view of the Douro River and Vila Nova de Gaia. Head down the stairs towards the riverbank.

Once you reach the riverbank, walk along the promenade in the direction of 'Cais de Gaia'. Continue walking along the waterfront, and you will find various restaurants and wine cellars.
