Metro
Start at the 'Aliados' metro station in Porto. Take the Metro Line D (Yellow Line) towards 'Hospital de São João'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Jardim do Morro' station. From the station, follow the signs to the exit. Once you exit, you will be at a viewpoint with a stunning view of the Douro River and Vila Nova de Gaia. Head down the stairs towards the riverbank.

Walking
Once you reach the riverbank, walk along the promenade in the direction of 'Cais de Gaia'. Continue walking along the waterfront, and you will find various restaurants and wine cellars. Keep following the path until you reach 'Av. de Diogo Leite'. The scenic spot of Marginal de Gaia is along this avenue, where you can enjoy views of Porto across the river.

Bus
If you prefer to take a bus, from 'Aliados', walk to the nearby 'Av. dos Aliados' bus stop. Take Bus number 901 or 902 towards 'Cais de Gaia'. After about 10-15 minutes, disembark at the 'Cais de Gaia' stop. From there, it’s a short walk towards the riverfront and then along 'Av. de Diogo Leite' to reach Marginal de Gaia.

For a scenic tram ride, head to the 'Cordoaria' tram stop in Porto. Take the Tram Line 1 towards 'Infante'. Enjoy the beautiful ride along the river. Get off at the 'Cais de Ribeira' stop. Walk towards the bridge and cross it to reach Vila Nova de Gaia. Once on the other side, follow the path along the river to 'Av. de Diogo Leite' for Marginal de Gaia.
