    Start at any metro station in Porto, such as São Bento or Trindade. Purchase a ticket to the 'Jardim do Morro' station on the D line (yellow line). Board the train heading towards 'Hospital de São João'. Once you arrive at 'Jardim do Morro', exit the station and follow the signs leading towards 'Vila Nova de Gaia'. You will find yourself at a viewpoint overlooking the Douro River. Sandeman Cellars is located a short walk from here.

    From the 'Jardim do Morro' metro station, exit towards the river and walk down the steps to the riverfront promenade (Cais de Gaia). Continue walking along the promenade in the direction of the Ponte de Dom Luís I bridge. Sandeman Cellars will be on your right after about 10-15 minutes of walking along the riverfront. Look for the distinctive Sandeman logo and entrance.

  • Bus

    You can also take bus number 500 from various points in Porto. If you start from the 'Aliados' area, catch the bus at the nearest stop and get off at 'Cais de Gaia'. From the bus stop, walk along the riverfront towards the Ponte de Dom Luís I bridge. Sandeman Cellars is approximately a 10-minute walk from the stop, located on your right-hand side.
