Getting There

• Metro

  From the city center of Porto, make your way to the São Bento Metro Station. You can walk to the station by heading east on Rua dos Alves until you reach the Praça de Almeida Garrett. Enter São Bento Station and take the Metro Line D (Yellow Line) towards Santo Ovídio. After approximately 10 minutes, disembark at the Jardim do Morro Station. Once you exit the station, you will find yourself at the Jardim do Morro park with a fantastic view of the Douro River and Porto's skyline. From here, walk down the steps towards the river and follow the signs for 'Rua do Choupelo.' Continue walking along Rua do Choupelo until you reach your destination at Rua do Choupelo 39, Vila Nova de Gaia.

• Bus

  If you prefer to take a bus, head to Campo 24 de Agosto, a major transportation hub in Porto. From there, take bus number 901 that goes towards Vila Nova de Gaia. The journey will take around 20 minutes. Once you disembark at the stop 'Choupelo,' walk towards Rua do Choupelo. Your destination, Porto Region Across the Ages, is located at Rua do Choupelo 39, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy walking, you can take a scenic route along the Douro River. Start at the Ribeira area, where you can enjoy the riverside view. Walk along the waterfront promenade towards the south, passing by various cafes and shops. Continue walking until you reach the Dom Luís I Bridge. Cross the bridge on the upper level, and once you reach Vila Nova de Gaia, head down to Rua do Choupelo. The Porto Region Across the Ages is located at Rua do Choupelo 39.
