If you are driving in the Douro Valley, head towards Vila Nova de Gaia. From the N222 road, take the exit towards Vila Nova de Gaia. Follow the signs for the city center (Centro de Vila Nova de Gaia). Once you reach Rua do Choupelo, look for number 39. Planet Cork is located on this street. There is usually street parking available, but be prepared to pay a fee, as parking in urban areas may incur costs.

You can take a local bus from various locations in Douro Valley to Vila Nova de Gaia. Look for bus services that connect to Gaia. The main bus station in Gaia is near the city center. Once you arrive at the Gaia bus station, you can either walk to Rua do Choupelo (approximately a 15-minute walk) or catch a local taxi. Walking directions: head southeast on Rua de João de Deus, turn left onto Rua de Cândido dos Reis, then turn right onto Rua do Choupelo, and look for number 39.

If you are near the train station in Peso da Régua or other towns along the Douro River, you can take a train to Porto. Once you arrive at Porto's train station (São Bento or Campanhã), transfer to the metro line D (yellow line) to the station 'Jardim do Morro'. From there, it's a short walk to Rua do Choupelo. Just follow the signs to cross the D. Luís I Bridge for beautiful views of the Douro River and Gaia.
