Once at São Bento, purchase a ticket to Guimarães at the ticket counter or automated machines. Trains to Guimarães run regularly, so check the schedule. Once you arrive at Guimarães train station, exit the station and walk straight ahead to the main street. Turn left onto Rua de São Gonçalo, and then take the first right onto Rua de São Tiago. Continue walking straight until you reach Praça de São Tiago, which will be on your right.

To reach Praça de São Tiago by bus, go to Campo 24 de Agosto bus station in Porto. You can take the Metro to Bolhão station and then walk to Campo 24 de Agosto. At the station, find the bus line that goes to Guimarães (check the schedules displayed at the bus stops). Board the bus and enjoy the ride to Guimarães. Once you arrive, get off at the main bus terminal in Guimarães. From there, head down Avenida de São Gonçalo, take a left on Rua de São Tiago, and continue straight until you reach Praça de São Tiago.
