If you are in the Boavista area, start by heading towards Avenida da Boavista. Depending on your exact location, you might find it easiest to walk to the intersection with Rua de Camões. Once you reach Rua de Camões, turn left and continue straight until you reach Campo Alegre. From here, you should see signs directing you to the Jardim Botânico do Porto. The garden is located at Rua do Campo Alegre 1191, which is a short 10-15 minute walk from the Boavista area.

Public Transportation (Bus)
For a quicker option, you can take the bus. Look for the nearest bus stop and catch the bus number 200 or 201, which both head towards the university area. Get off at the 'Faculdade de Ciências' stop. From there, it is a 5-minute walk to the Jardim Botânico. Just head down Rua do Campo Alegre, and the entrance to the garden will be on your left.

Public Transportation (Metro)
If you prefer using the metro, make your way to the nearest metro station, which could be Casa da Música or Jardim do Morro. Take the metro towards the São Bento station and transfer to the bus lines that head towards the university area. Use the same bus numbers as mentioned earlier (200 or 201) to reach the 'Faculdade de Ciências' stop, then walk 5 minutes down Rua do Campo Alegre.
