Car
If you're driving from Beira Alta to the Porto Tram Museum, start by getting onto the A1 motorway from Beira Alta. Follow the signs for Porto and take exit 8 towards A3. Continue on A3 and merge onto the A20 towards Porto. After approximately 90 km, take exit 11 towards Avenida da Boavista. Continue straight until you reach Rua de Camões. Follow this road, and it will take you to Alameda de Basílio Teles. The museum is located at number 51. Parking may be available nearby, but expect to pay for street parking.

Train
To reach the Porto Tram Museum by train, take a train from Beira Alta station to Porto São Bento station. The journey takes about 2 to 3 hours and trains run frequently. Once you arrive at Porto São Bento, exit the station and head to the metro station located adjacent to it. Take the metro line A (Blue Line) towards Alto do Pina and get off at the Casa da Música station. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to the museum. Head east on Avenida da Boavista, then turn left onto Rua de Camões, and finally turn right onto Alameda de Basílio Teles.

Bus
For bus travelers, take a bus from Beira Alta to Porto. Check the local bus schedules, as they can vary. The journey may take around 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in Porto, you can take the metro from the nearby Bolhão metro station. Take the D line (Yellow Line) towards Hospital de São João and transfer at Casa da Música station to the A line (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. Get off at Casa da Música station and walk 15 minutes to the museum by following the same route as described for train travelers.
