If you are driving from the center of Serra de Sintra, head south on Avenida Dr. Alfredo da Costa toward Rua Visconde de Juromenha. Continue on this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the 2nd exit onto Avenida da Liberdade (N247). Follow this road for about 5 km. As you approach Estoril, keep an eye out for signs leading to Av. Marginal. Turn left onto Av. Marginal and follow the road for approximately 1 km. You'll find Forte de Santo António da Barra at Av. Marginal 73, Estoril.

Disembark at Estoril station. From the station, exit and turn right onto Avenida de Portugal. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Av. Marginal. Turn left on Av. Marginal and continue walking for about 15 minutes. The Forte de Santo António da Barra will be on your right at Av. Marginal 73.
