You will pass the ferry terminal on your left. Continue along the waterfront until you reach the end of the marina area. From here, you can see the Forte de Santiago do Outão directly across the water. To get to the fortress, you can take the ferry from the terminal to Troia. After disembarking, follow the signs toward the beach and the fortress. The walk will take about 20 minutes.
