From the center of Cascais, head towards the Cascais Marina. You can find the marina by walking down Rua do Farol, which leads you directly to the water. Once at the marina, turn left and follow the coastal path along the Avenida Afonso de Sousa. This scenic route will take you past beautiful views of the ocean. Continue walking along the coast until you reach the Praia da Rainha beach. From there, look for signs pointing to Praia da Figueirinha, which is approximately a 20-minute walk further along the coast. The path will eventually lead you to a set of stairs that descend to the beach.

From Cascais center, walk to the Cascais Bus Station located near the train station. Look for the bus line that goes to 'Praia do Guincho' or 'Praia da Figueirinha.' Board the bus and confirm with the driver that your stop is included on the route. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Praia da Figueirinha' stop. From there, follow the signs leading directly to the beach.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Cascais. Start from the Cascais center and head towards Avenida da República. Follow the road towards the coastal path leading to Guincho Beach. The path is well-marked and scenic. Once you reach Praia da Rainha, continue on the coastal path until you see the signs for Praia da Figueirinha. The total cycling distance is about 5 km and will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.
